DiasoftlNSURANCE is easy to use because of a state-of-the art grafical user interface. Any one with experience in the insurance business will be - within a very short time-familiar with menues and screens and will be able to start working from the very beginning.    DiasoftlNSURANCE works under the operating systems Novell Netware or Microsoft Windows NT, with several Database Systems, e.g.: Btrieve, Scalable SQL. Version for DBMS DB2 is in the test-phase.    DiasoftlNSURANCE provides powerful tools for extension of the functions set and adaptation to the customer needs.    In accordance with agreement on collaboration between the companies DIASOFT and IDC Information Technologies (Riga, Latvia) modified version of the product named by DiasoftlNSURANCE IDC is in the test-phase.    In addition to the basic version it will provide the following facilities:       - Using original technology as a tool for the designing insurance schemes and algorithms       - A set of typical insurance modules       - Interface in national languages       - Simulation models to study insurance business models Basic version DiasoftlNSURANCE is also used as the kernel and the instrumental tool in creating modified version appropriate for Baltic States insurance markets.    Competition advantages:       - Integrated solution for all areas of insurance and reinsurance business       - Easy setting to any type of insurance       - Direct relationships between insurance, accountancy and financial management modules       - Planning and real payments control       - Price about 10 times lower than prices of similar Western products.
